Turtle WoW closed in May 2026 after a court ruling, and some players are looking for another realm. If you are one of them, here is what fits and what does not, because we are not the same kind of server.
What Turtle was
Turtle was a Classic Plus server. New zones, new races, custom items, content that never existed in real Vanilla. That was the point of it, and a lot of people loved it for exactly that.
What Stonetavern is
Stonetavern is real, unchanged 1.12.1. No custom zones, no new races, no added content, no Vanilla+. x1 rates, PvE, no shop. We think the original game, left alone, is enough.
If what you loved about Turtle was the custom content, you will not find it here, and a Classic Plus server is a better match for you. If what you wanted was plain Vanilla with a community that takes it seriously, Stonetavern is plain Vanilla.
